Plant Trees, Plant Green Thoughts
City planting: Barstow Park, South Parking Lot, 9am
Honeylocusts, purchased by the City of Vermillion, will be planted to take the place of ash trees that were removed due to a beetle known as the emerald ash borer. The parks currently do not have any honeylocusts—and science tells us that having a diverse canopy is a good thing.
