Mission JOY: Finding Happiness in Troubled Times
Online video
Free on-demand via the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library. After registering here, a link will be provided to view the 1 hour and 30-minute documentary.
Mission JOY: Finding Happiness in Troubled Times is a manifesto for living lightly in dark times. Through laughter and conversation, the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu invite the listener to imagine joy as something communal—stemming from connection with and love for others—and compatible with suffering.
Also see the book discussion in the Kozak Room of the library based on the same conversation, Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, 6:30 pm. Find more information about the book discussion here.
